Product Rave (Anyone with fuel related issues)

I just wanted to put this out there. I have been using an additive in my gasoline on my boat, and I was using based on a recommendation by the gurus at the shop. I was not sure if it has been keeping my fuel tip top but I have not been having issues with the boat engine.

Well the proof in the product came today, and has made me a believer.

I went out to clean the driveway, and started the snowblower up. It usually starts right up 1st shot. Well today it did'nt, it took 3 attempts. It ran kind of rough and was bogging down on me. I let it warm up some, and started to turn down the choke, and thing ran even worse. Now normally this thing starts on the first pull, warms up quick, down to half choke after about 30 seconds, and no choke after a minute. After getting about 3/4 done, it happened, sputtering and then kaput no start. I wondered what can I do now, then remembered the product. I retrieved it from the garage, and added some to the tank. I swished it around, and then started the snow blower up, it ran rough for about 30 seconds, then smoothed out. I could litteraly smell the crud burning off the carb. I was able took totally shut down the choke and she was running like new again. I will now use this product in all of my gas powered tools, and continue to use it in my boat.

I am sure by now you guys, and gals are wondering what the product is. It is Johnson/Evinrude 2+2 fuel conditioner.

I use a similar product - Seafoam, whenever a small engine is acting up (snowblowers, mowers, etc). Works great for that. OTOH, I don't put any additive in my outboard gasoline and have had no problems.

Best regards,
Roger
