February 15th S-B Dinner/Event - Striper Talk Striped Bass Fishing, Surfcasting, Boating

Don & GB have graciously provided the Tiverton Rod & Gun Club to host the First Ever S-B, "It's too Friekin' Cold to Fish Fling" on Saturday, February 15th 2003 (Originally scheduled for the 8th). See the other thread HERE

Here are some of the details from GB on the other thread:

Don has the Tiverton rod and gun club all set for Feb 8th and he will supply the music. We will be able to use the kitchen to cook and warm up food. I know we have a few members like M+D that want to give items to raffle off and I will work on that end of it. All money that is collected will go to S-B .Com to help keep us all connected. Don had talked about a $10 ticket to get in and I think this is a good price. Don and I will pay for the club and the use of the kitchen so all ticket sales will also go straight to S-B. Now I need to know how many we can count on to come, as this will not cost the board anything we could stand to raise a good sum for the site. Someone had asked about wifes or girl freinds and I think thats fine and also think the $10 ticket would cover for both you and your guest. Now lets hear who will come and also what food you can bring???

Significant others are welcome to attend, and if you want to prove to your significant other that all (well most) of your Internet Friends are not complete whackos, here's your chance

I'm in along with my better half.

Mike Laptew will be putting on a presentation and providing us with some "Fish Porn". Mike is destined for Panama in Late January, hopefull we will be able to see some wild stuff from down there in his presentation.

HABS has been generous enough to donate 6 plugs for the raffle table. What a heck of a nice guy! Some of the plugs donated are new for the '03 year. Here's you chance to be one of the first to have them.
