Weekend Plans - Fourth of July weekend?

Long weekend, celebrate Independence Day!

So what's up for the weekend?

Cape Bound, fireworks with the little guy, maybe some camping, off the grid a bit.

FISH.

So what's up for the LONG weekend?

3 days of boating and fishing, fireworks and dock party. Time to put some fluke in the freezer, hopefully the weather will change for the better

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day ...
show him where to fish and ... you'll be sorry

Hope to dodge thunderstorms in the Bay for 3 days. No responsibilities. Tynan and Starfish may come up to bob around and plug the islands on Sat and Sunday.

72 hrs of fishing SoCo, not a felony in all 50 states.

If we get some decent weather I intend to fish for at least two of the three days.

Scrambling to get a deck finished today before the storms reappear this afternoon.... railings, trim, stairs, skirtboards, granite base tread. Get the site cleaned up in time for fireworks party tomorrow night. My 16 year old son is working with me and it has been a very good week. He is looking forward to a paycheck. Today is going to be a little crazy though..... After that, I don't have a plan. But I will be out on the boat some.

Boat will stay tied up at the dock. if I do run in will be in the small hours. Every weekend warrior will be out during the daylight hours.

Big cookout with about 60 people at my house Sunday. I already traded Bass for 200 little necks. I have a great relationship with the quahogers on my dock

No boat, back in the suds.

Just finished the first cocktail of my vacation. Tomorrow, play lawnmower repairman and landscaper. On the 6th, celebrate 35 year Anniversary. Then fish my arse off.

Congrats Fred. Thats a milestone for sure.
I will be going to Sandy Neck via boat with friends for our annual 4th of July beach day but doing it on Sunday instead. BBQ tomorrow with wifes family. We are closed on Monday too so I am raking sand eels on Monday morning hopefully so I can do some fluke fishing during the upcoming week. Man traffic was bad coming down 495 starting at 24 overpass, I had to go back roads just to get home after hitting BJ's. I forgot it was Friday.
