This past month...

The fishing seems to keep getting better and better. It helps that I have been on the water almost every day with charters, but it seems to just keep going. The quanity and quality of fish on the fly and light tackle has been staggering.

Very nice.

What offset hooks do you use with the GotStryper baits. I've been using the LunkerCity 7/0(I think) for the 9" baits when fishing from the boat. But I don't have a lot of confidence in those hooks for use at the canal when I have to really lock the drag down.

The 10/0 beast or the 11/0 bally hook seem to be the ticket.
The beast with the screw and lock seems to last quite a few fish, b/c the screw adds to the surface area so it won't tear and rubber just moves out of the way.

PM-Yea it is good all over right now. I just try to get away from everybody though, and find my own real estate.
