Woodstock!!!
40 years ago this week! A weekend of peace, love and freedom took place in the Catskill Mountains in New York State on the farm of Max Yasger!! I was almost 5 years old and my Mommy would not let me go.......were you there??? I would love to hear any stories from anyone who may have been fortunate enough to be there!! Man I would love to have been a face in that crowd!!!
Anyone got any stories or remembrances of Woodstock???

I was there...I was 6 years old. I ate acid with Carlos Santana...he was beaming when they unexpectedly called the band to the stage. I also had my first encounter with an older gal...she was 14.....we danced and embraced to the sounds of Country Joe & the Fish. No more War!!!
I'll never forget Jimi playing the Star Spangled Banner....truly an "experience"
So many fuzzy but groovy memories Larry...wish you were there with me...we would have had a chocolate milk or two, that's for sure!

I know a couple of people that went.....still waiting for them to get back. They got the message on the Brown Acid a little bit too late.

I was there, but all I remember was sex, drugs, and rock & roll.

I remember hearing about the traffic jams on the news. Had a neighbor who had been to Nam (Da Nang) in the AF who went to Woodstock. I was 11 at the time.

I remember hearing about all the cars, (thousands left along the side of the road), that had been ransacked/broken into that were parked along the road leading into Yazgurs farm. Not a one had anything of value left in them when the stoopid hippies got back to them. Those hippies might have been peace lovin but they took chit that didn't belong to them also.
Matt your a funny, funny guy. Cute story.
