Exterior corner mount brackets for Direct TV
Does anyone know where something like this could be purchased or made? I am going to have the roof done where the dish is now and I want to mount a bracket and vertical pipe on the front corner of the house facing southwest.

Chances are direct tv will charge you, but if you switch to Dish Network, almost identical service. they will install for free....
Just a thought...

No I didn't Craig, yet. When they originally came for the installation years ago I asked him to mount on the corner board and he said he couldn't. I am going to call them shortly because the estimator for the roof is coming in a couple of days and I want the dish moved before they start.

i don't know if your in a contract or not
but i would be sure to mention that
your not planning on staying with them
if they are going to charge you.
that usually convinces them to do it for free

Corner Bracket
Swimmer,
DirectTV will not supply you a corner mounting bracket. We've designed one specifically for that use. The cost is $90. If you're interested just let me know and I can give you the details.

Let me think on that Matt. Either way thank you. What I want to do is place the dish on the shortest length of piping necessary so that it rises just above the roof line on the corner of the house. The roof is being reshingled in a couple of weeks and I want to have it moved prior too. I might go over to radio shack in Bridgewater and see what they have.
