Door Tickets & Raffle tickets for Feb 15th... + important info change
I need to get going for the door tickets for the S-B "Too Frieking Cold to Fish" event and print those out. But I also need to make notice of a couple changes.
First, we're looking to do the tickets by mail and if there are still open seats we'll do the door thing too. Now the tickets are CHEAP - only $10 per COUPLE - how can you beat that!
Second AND VERY IMPORTANT. The Tiverton Rod & Gun club is undergoing reservations and will not, repeat NOT, be available in time for our nite out. It would have worked out great but they won't be ready in time.
Fortunately, GB & Don arranged another location for the same date & times. The VFW hall in Fairhaven... This also solves some of our beverage questions as they have a bar on site (but I don't want to drive people home either ).
So everything is still a go and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. Again, I deeply want to thank everyone for their praise & support of this site! My wife and I are simply AMAZED at how everyone has been so kind! It makes it all worthwhile
Make check for $10 per couple out to Linesider Technologies & Mail to:

I'm sorry - Fairhaven, New Jersey... Just kidding, OK - Fairhaven, MASS
Yes, Fairhaven Bassacusetts
Should we look into local rooms at places too? Hey GB, what places are close & relatively cheap nearby?
Thanks,
John

Where exactly is the VFW in fairhaven? Maybe driving directions?
You mention a bar. Is it still ok to bring the sodas?

Fairhaven is just across the way from Scenic New Bedford, probably an extra 15 minutes drive for those of us that would have come from route 195 and less for most of our Mass brethern... I'll post directions to the VFW when I get them from GB.
Here is the general map to Fairhaven (not in Jersey or CT):
Saltheart - I think sodas would be fine, I plan to bring some as well...

Fairhaven...........the name says it all!
VFW 109 Middle St. 508 997-1707
Right across the street is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel 508 997-1281. Up the street is Hampton Inn-Fairhaven 800 426-7866 and sort of a dew drop inn is the Huttleston Motel 508 997-7655. All are right of I-195 and easy to get to providing the infamous New Bedford/Fairhaven bridge is open to vehicular traffic.

Thanks GB for helping with the alternate location!
Any news yet on Sat?...
What's great about the new location, is that Fairhaven, Ma (like Tiverton RI) is very easy to find!
The 15th promises be a great time!...
Redcrbbr, please PM me when you get a chance...

You just need the check for the $10 and I assume the raffles will be handled on site? Check's out tomorrow, either my wife or I'll put up an ad "looking for girlfriend for a night out" .

So here goes a static map:
