I don't think they do tours. Just drive in and check out the "tanks". They used to have pellets machines like the ones at petting zoos. The trout love those.

A bottomless pit of bum information/ Death makes memories of us all...

Was there a couple of weeks ago and yes, the pellet machine is still there. Craig who is in charge there is one of the better canal fishermen I have fished with. Boy can he cast! No tour but access to most of the pools is available.

Heard the fat lady sing and followed the frost line down south this week. Am going to check out the Savannah River for some stripers. Anyone have any prior experience there?

If you have young kids, I cannot stress enough how much fun kids will have feeding the fish at this hatchery. Bring LOTS of quarters and a hat or bucket you don't mind stinking

Castle in the Clouds, New Hampshire

At the bottom of the hill where this so-called castle is there is a large pond where you ca pellet feed trout. It was a blast thrwoing handfuls of pellets out and watching the HUGE trout smash the baait feeding on it. I can only imagine it is as much fun in Sandwich.
