What is Wrong with People...
my daughter was dancing in the North Andover Holiday Parade today with her dance school.
She tells me at the end of the parade that some guy flicked a cigarrette butt and hit her in the head while she was dancing in the parade. WTF.....What goes through people's minds to make them want to do something like this to a bunch of kids.....ignorant %$%$%$%$ing people out there

Those are the type of people you hope hit a rogue patch of ice while driving too fast around a corner late at night.

I'm sorry that some grommet did this to your little girl. Coulda hit her eye. I'm also sorry that she took it so well. Sorry because she accepts such acts along with the rest of her generation. Dirtbags are everywhere, every freekin where!
Really sucks where we are as a people and where we're headed from here.

unfortunately a lesson in life for your daughter at a young age. This crosses many demographics I think there are more losers today than ever before. People with no class or respect for themselves or others. I hate to stereotype, but we all have an image in our heads of this jerk.

Kevin, I am so sorry your daughter had to have that happen to her.... and I know how you feel...
one thing i have learned over the past few years, is that the human race, is on the downslide, at an alarming rate....
I have no answers or cures... and not much hope for that to change...
we are just too populated, and the "perps" for lack of a better family friendly word, know how to play the system, as to what they can get away with...
Disturbing...

These threads remind me of the title of an article written by probably the last statesman to sit in the US Senate--Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
The title was, "Defining Deviancy Down"--pretty much an overview of how cultural norms and standards of acceptable behavior have been devalued over the last 40-50 years.

We went to the spice place Saturday, I stayed in the car listening to the game. My wife said that a customer came back in and said that he'd bought the 7 buck teapot by mistake and had really wanted the 10 dollar one. Could he get the 10 dollar one for 7? They said no. He went into a tirade, had the little girl at the counter crying and the rest of the customers glaring at him. I told the wife that she should have come and got me. I woulda ruined his day and self esteem. I effin' hate bullies more than anything on this earth. There is something wrong in my gear box, God help me, bullies make me want to screw with them, and I'm good at it. "Let's go outside and I'll make you cry, too, you effin retahd...."

I can friekin tell you on a day by day, week by week, year by year, decade by decade, just how we have devalued our cultural norms over the last 36 years in such a finite manner it would make most of you sick to your stomach.
Dad if it means anything to you and your daughter, it does come around. It really does. Fate seeks out these a..h...s everyday. It almost hunts them down with a vengence. Dopes like the guy who threw the butt at your daughter wants people to live his pain and he thinks doing what he did will bring her down to his level, NOT. Someday, if it hasn't happened allready the jerk will wake up some morning and look in the mirror and say, "oh chit, is this really me? Oh balls did I muck it up!"

Karl
i read about a study on Rats living in a kind of artificial habitat ok...
and they started out with two family's each living at opposite ends.
there was plenty of Space and plenty of food....everything was peaceful and calm...a very happy existence.
then they each had a litter .....and the babies grew up and the cross mating began...the competition for space began and the competition for food also began but it was still relatively peaceful.
then the third generation arrived and now the squabbles started and in fighting broke out everywhere.....fighting for food and space became a daily affair but all in all they seemed to work things out.
then the fourth generation arrived and there was robbing and fights to the death as many fought for supremacy and the right to live became more and more difficult.
then the fifth generation arrived and it turned into a cannibalistic blood bath everyday with all the baby rats being eaten as fast as they could produce them. Disease set into the colony and the fighting was constant with all out wars being common place.
the sixth generation killed everything in site and soon all of them succumbed to disease from the unsanitary conditions from over population and cannibalism.

The human race is at least at gen4 and maybe as high as gen5+!
|
Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.
