Going to see the movie this weekend with a couple of nephews and the wife. The kids are really looking forward to it, and I am too. Its kind of a cool concept. I am always a sucker for a love story.

The girlfriend and I are going to an earlier showing on Friday in hopes of avoiding some crowds.

Doesn't look like that will happen... showings are already selling out.

I'm pumped!

Just looked at the IMAX schedule and Natick is mostly sold out for this weekend and there are only a few shows in Reading still available.

I think I'm going to try and see it Saturday 9:15 AM showing.....In 3-D it should be the Shiznit

Me too. The wife and son are insisting we go. Also, most of my friends said they'll be going to see it this weekend. I think it's going to be one of the biggest movies in a long time. They're saying it's going to break all kinds of records.

Yep the biggest movie of the holiday season and probably win the academy award as best Picture. At the theater near me you can buy the tickets online (for a small additional fee) and then pick them up at the Box office. Its going to be a mob scene until way past New Years Day.

I'd better start scrambling for tickets it appears...Jenn and I want to see in in a theater rather than wait for Netflix

My younger brother called me. He wants to take his two kids and meet me and the wife there for the grand opening. They will be talking about this one for years. I have a four year old. I plan on sneeking him in. We have done it before. Not a big deal.

thats why they call it fishing not catching

My weekly lunch group (unemployed/retired) about 6 of us can't wait to see next week. Going to the IMAX 3D in Natick, mid-week matinee so less likely to be sold out especially with the school breaks the following 2 weeks. We also get to save a couple $$ on ticket prices.

This is likely to surpass Titanic which turned out to be a blockbuster but I more liken it to the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Sounds like the story of my life with my few friends. All I know is it needs a Predator and an Alien in it somewhere. Anywhere. Sorry I love watching Predator mess stuff up

$500 million to make this film, the most expensive ever! It better be good. Unfortunately, my wife is the queen of the chick flick so I will be waiting until it is out on DVD.

I just donated $50 for a fund to rent a bus to take the entire retirement community housing place in town to see it. The aarp magazine says this is the one movie you should see before you die, and many are taking it seriously!!!!

What a strange world we live in... Since its supposed to be the movie of all time, I might as well see it too and am takng the whole family..

I already bought 4 tickets yesterday online and then wife comes home and says we need 4 more for her sisters family. Now we are having a Pre Movie party at my house to get psyched for the afternoon showing on Saturday. I've never seen my family so excited and i have to admit I'm getting a little carried away by it all myself. This is going to be an all time classic and probably a life changing experience for us. This is what family times are all about!

So I have not been in a movie theater since 1977...Star Wars...the first one.

I am going to Avatar this weekend. I think this will be the blockbuster of all times.

Taking the whole family plus 3 neighborhood kids who's parents already went to a sneak preview. Can't wait.
