to freakin hot to fish fling
All right I've had it. It's time to think ahead. I doubt that one could even think about whispering a negative word about Sat. night so............let's try for a double.
How about a get together sometime this summer?
GB and myself know of a big out of the way field a couple of miles West of the VFW. Perhaps we could put together an old fashion clam bake complete w/ the bake pit and all the fixins'. The place is big enough for those w/ self-contained campers could crash.
Just a thought but I bet we could all use something to look forward too besides cold and
Just a thought.

ALR - we have something close to those - we burn some perfectly good food then we go fishing to see who can C&R the biggest fish. We do this twice in Rhody & twice in Mass...
We call it the Four Leg Tourney

John, sounds good to me! Chalk my ignorance up to being a rookie I need something to focus on. This winter is REALLY getting old. There's cabin fever and then there's this crap.

I was thinking along the same line Sat. night - but with a different twist - we could have a gathering someplace and FISH !! Think of it - - Striped Bass.com day at the ditch or a beach or jetty - ect.
Imagine 100 + people showing up to fish one area LOL
Striped Bass.com from one end of the ditch to the other !!!
Always looking for a chuckle

See - we do this already - for two years now. Family sometimes make it to the cookout before we fish and Specialist and I have been talking about something different for the Fall Rhody leg this year - a weekend thing where people have the option of getting a local motel room so the family comes along too. And still fish
As for 100 people descending upon a spot, I don't think ANY spot can suffer that kind of pressure so we split it up into small groups instead to go & fish

As far as the 4 leg - i think you'll see me this year when it works with my schedule. Hopefully their not as grueling as the Tri-States i experienced last year with team MSBA

Even 100 people , spread out over the entire length of the Ditch on both sides would still give you more room to fish than in a lot of spots!
