It was very good and VERY well attended. I had never been to Rivers End. It was nice to see some of my old friends from CT. Caught my friend Mckenna's excellent presentation on Metal Lips - your never too old to learn new tricks and I try and keep learning. Saw a little of Toby Ls Cutty talk. Spoke with Pat Abate about old times on Block. Got to meet Q who is perhaps the best VS tech around. Left him a patient, my old original VS 300 that has sentimental value to me. Been through the wars with me - retrieved hundreds of needlefish miles. Q will give her a transplant to hopefully keep her going another 10 years.

Frank Capone of the CT surfcasters was master of the grill as usual. Food was good, chili and dogs.
The CT surfcasters are just a great club - just real good people.
All in all very impressed.

Awesome day! Seminars where great, Crazy Alberto was very entertaining to listen to and had great advice. I showed up late for Steve's seminar but I bet his and Toby's was great as well. Great food, great people, great door prizes.haha Congrats to the lucky VS winner

Saw far fewer people then other years although it was prop. more crowded. The seminars are always entertaining. A good way to spend a day.

I got there later on in the day but caught Crazy Al’s seminar which was very informative and very entertaining. Talked awhile with the guys from Northbar about the new bottle darter and picked up a few to try along with a few new eelskin plugs from Lordship lures. Nice way to start off the season.
