Annual Father's Day Weekend down the Cape a little earlier this year. Head down June 3-6th. Still figuring out exactly where we'll fish but the Canal is involved as will MV & Elizabeth Islands.

Doing a family vacation down the Cape for July 4th week. Already have been given the go ahead from the wife to bring the yak and fishing stuff. Staying right on the beach in a very good area. Will also be doing plenty of early morning trips down the Cape to head out on the boat with my dad.

During my April vacation I'll spend most of my time fishing river systems in CT.
6/26-7/11 Race Point is my big one.
I've got the rest of the summer off so I'm sure I'll be bouncing around all over the place.

Probably do a bunch of one night commando missions like I always have. My new fishing partner( BackBeach Jr) is getting fired up to catch his first striper.
We're also planning a family trip to the cape for a week in august.

It's not the bait

It's the fishing hole

I'm a home body.. in by-gone years I made pilgramages to the cape.. Pleasant bay in June.. head of the meadow beach in September... now, the grass is not so green outside my home waters ( Plum Island ma.) .. I spend more time loving my time on the water and less time worrying about what I may be missing....

A good run is better than a bad stand!

List is long. If I get to do half of what is on my list I will be happy.

Actually, after my recent Costa Rica fishing trip, I really don't have to catch very much around here this year to remain happy for a long while. ( maybe seeing a big bluefin going to market this fall would be nice though)

Would really like to get to either Block of Cutty this season. Probably a few trips to the canal and also want to get out and hit Fishers Island a few times this year from the shore.
