Hearing re: Commercial Quotas

Here is a message I received from Pat Abate at Rivers End. At the last meeting the sportsman presence was quite weak. If you can take time today to shoot Mr. Miner an email that would be great.

Important DEP HEARING JULY 14, 2010 at 7pm
DEP Marine Headquarters
333 Ferry Road
Old Lyme, CT

I hate to use this forum for other than fishing reports but I feel this is important enough to all of us that I break the rules.
There is a serious proposal before the ASMFC to increase the commercial quota for striped bass. This is a federal matter but our state votes on it.
There will be an opportunity to speak and have your comments on the record.

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO THIS YEAR FOR THE FUTURE OF STRIPED BASS

You can also contact our representative from the Legislature that votes on this amendment.
Rep. Craig Miner

Apologies again but this address is getting bounced back as well. Will try to update the correct address as soon as I can.
