Jacob and I went to check her out on friday after work. Beautiful fish. Dux bay is loaded with theses critters. Now keep in mind it is illegal to posses one of these so if you do catch them you need to release them immediately. They're all over the bay and back rivers feasting on everything and will eat chunks of mac and pogey. The one in this video is estimated at just over a year old.
WOW, I think I caught one of those early May/late April chunking macs on the Buzz Bay side of Woods Hole! I knew it wasn't a run of the mill dogfish but was about 5' long and had spots. Really nice fighter. We did immediately release, unharmed. ODM if you read this, what do you think/remember?
