I experienced Hurricane Bob in '91 from a tent: northern Maine, sub-hurricane force winds, tree limbs crashing down around us and luckily none did a direct hit, and worse of all was the 5+" rain!

72 years ago today the wind on the top of Blue Hill was recorded at 186 MPH, the third highest wind gusts ever recorded.
