Earth Date.....11:01:10......The sunrise was spectacular this morning though the air was quite cold, with the wind I had trouble feeling my hands and fingertips until the sun grew higher in the sky. Could find no other Human life forms as far as the eye could see, birds were working and my Hydro Probes were being harassed by a finned creature of some kind which carried seven lateral lines down each side?? They were striking with regularity and with great aggression as the morning wore on. Changing my location frequently seemed to help as these water born drones moved around quite a bit almost as if they were in small groups or "Pods" and acted as if they had someplace to go? Apparently foraging for sustenance as my Hydro Probes could not be worked fully without being swallowed each time they were deployed apparently being mistaken for some kind of "bait"? Size of these "fish" I shall call them ranged from small to about 28 inches in length. They were quite entertaining to say the least. After further research I discovered that these "Striped Bass" as they are known have by this time (as many believe) made their migration to southern spawning grounds yet there are still enough of them on the South Shore to warrant further research. I shall continue my expedition until all energy has been exhausted.

Until tomorrow this is Commander BigFish signing off!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

from Galaxy Quest :"What's my name? Does anyone know who I am other than "crewman #5"? See, I'm gonna die cause they didn't give me a name!"

Of course that is not the EXACT quote, but it ran along those lines.
