Performance Anxiety?
Am i the only one that gets a little nervous getting into the water for the first time in the spring? Too many times my waders have leaked. This year it was a success. So i can skip a trip to LL Bean.
Im not sure about the wearbars yet. I have them on Cabelas ultra lights felt sole. The wear bars did grab good but in not accustomed to the additional height of the felts. Time will tell how they work on the real rocks, not much covered rocks in a lake.

Everything is better on the rocks.

I just assume nothing will be just right so if by chance something is its a pleasant surprise. Expect reel issues , line issues , can't find stuff issues , cloths issues etc for the first few trips.

Is this your first time using the warebars? I've been thinking of adding them to my waders or at least my lacross boots for the ditch. Let me know how they work out on the real rocks...
I found this american version of the warebars. Anybody try em yet?

At least you only have to worry about waders leaking, what about boat leaking and sinking (bilge pump malfunction) or engine cutting out 20 miles out.....

The wearbars will probably be the one thing I'm not worrying about performing

Just got back from my first trip of the year. The gear worked perfectly. Unfortunately there was so much weed in the water, the fishing was impossible. Still felt good to be out there again.
