Ok Ok, I took yesterday off as I needed to be on the water BAD, the fish have finally shown up in Boston harbor in a big way, Bait, Birds and fish everywhere yesterday and I do mean everywhere, there has been so much bait here for weeks and no fish to really speak of.

we ended up with over 30 keeper Bass mostly between 29 & 33 inches, and Adam got a nice 30 lb and a 10 lb blue to top it off, was a great day.

Headed back to see Bill today as they Moved him down to the rehab floor yesterday afternoon, hopefully they will get his body going now as they tried 3 times yesterday just to see if he could stand on his own. not happening yet. But its good he is down there now where they can individually work on him alone to get him better.

SO if you fish the harbor get you ass out there!!! Its been a long spring with very few fishies around.

First three consecutive skunks I've earned this year. Did manage a 10 mile bike ride in an absolute downpour early this morning. We got to cast for a few hours before the lightning got too close for comfort. But Ill keep trying. Let me know when you want to head out Larry, I'm ready. It's been a great year for me so far quantity wise, still stuck at the 30# mark though.

Sucks down here, warm water, not much bait and no fish! Fluking is slow and the fly's are the worst I have ever seen!

I think its been a good year so far, lots of fish but nothing big. I want to target fluke for the next month or so with some nightime eel trips in between. My PB came on August 4 so I'm not giving up hope for bass just yet.

I have also been running into countless 29 to 33 inch fish. I had 20 to 30 fish one night and 2 the next night *t the same spot with better conditions. Just no bait

I've had more fun fishing fresh water, but I'm not giving up on the salt. I will just plan my trips when I can.

This was pretty much my morning and my season to a tee, except that I'm only on my second consecutive skunk. I'm sure I can equal 3 in a row my next trip out, though.

Larry:I started a thread on how's your season so I have been talking. Just to be redundant, it's my best year since 2006. Over 200 Bass in the 34 to 46" size range. Most were 15 to 25#. Had a couple of 30#+, quite a few in the 23 to 28# range. Slowed down in the last week because of really hot water. I have seen 78 degrees in several places in Narr Bay.
Acres of bluefish 5 to 8#. Sunday, we caught them until our arms were too tired to fish anymore. I will even tell where. From the Jamestown Bridge to Beavertail is where we found huge schools. Must have been 1 mile long and 1/2 mile wide all breaking on silversides.

No boat, back in the suds.

Did a beach trip to S.Monomoy last Sat.Slow from the beach[flyfishing]all schoolies and the boats weren't doing any better[or worse].Did see a great white on the surface for about 15-20 seconds out about 80yds at the s/e of the southern most tip and a couple of seals that had encounters with them.1 small harbor seal with teeth marks and 1 grey that really took at hit and was showing large rips with raw fat/flesh exposed.

Come south...breaking fish with all the 24-28 inch fish you want...No big ones though. Lots of fun on 14 lb. test line and light tackle or fly rods...
