Old Rockers
Just got in from "The Doors"show at the Wilbur. Robbie Krieger and Ray Manzarek played a great set list and sounded awesome, but they look like crap.Highlights for me were Changeling and Peace Frog.Any other old dudes you like to see?

They came around a couple of months ago, sadly Ian's voice is not worth paying for anymore. They were a hits machine in the mid 70's,one great album after another.

I saw Paul Rodgers last year at the Hampton beach Casino. First time I had ever seen him and what a show it was! Great voice and he seems to get better with age. My friends went to the Bad Company show in Boston the following weekend and said it was steller. They released an album from that show it was so good.

I saw the Guess Who with Burton Cummings a few years ago. They were spot on.

Here's a group from AARP! Saw this show in Sept at Players in Rockland. Jon Butcher, Charlie Farren, David Hull, and James Montgomery! They brought a good crowd and played for 2 hours.

Nice!
I caught a Further (Bob Weir/Phil Lesh from the Dead) show on Sunday with Backbeach. Phil is nearing 70 if he's not already there, and he still brings the thunder like few other bass players I've ever seen. Amazing!
For geriatric rock part two, I'm attending the Allman Bros. show in December at the Orpheum. Greg looks 90, but I imagine he's a bit less than that...
These two bands still put on a clinic every time I see them. Amazing to have such sustained success in a young man's business..
