M&D's is stocked

with Ledge Runners, so swing on by next time your in the Wareham area. Dropped off two big boxes of baits today, so he will have a good supply of pearl, chartreuse, smoke and holiglitter belly/smoke tops in 5-1/2 & 7 inch split tails and the 6, 9 and 13 inch jerks. Picked up a Stradic 8000 for the canal, but I've got to get rid of that funky handle; what brain dead engineer thought up that thing...yikes.

Friend Drew and I hit a local spring fresh water spot and we caught a bunch of bass, pickeral and crappie. Drew took lunker with a nice 4-1/2 lber coming on a float & fly and I had a killer bite on a berkley power worm for about 1 hour, just non stop action. Nice to not have the usual 1-1/2 hour drive home, which I'd been facing all winter, but I'm itching to get back at the striped ones.
