Should have been here yesterday
Narragansett Bay is chock full of bait. Saw schools of blitzng stripers for the first time in my life. AWESOME. Albacore mixed in as well. Bite died down after 90 minutes then found some bunker schools being hammered by huge bluefish. Best day of fishing I have had in years.
Fished for 8 hours of pretty much nonstop action.
Addmittley I am not a great fisherman and do not fish that much, but even a blind squirel finds an accorn now and then.

...sounds awesome; were you in a boat? ...never fished down there, but will be pulling my lobster traps off Cape Ann today for the season, and indending to scope out between Ipswich Bay and Salem Sound before I do, but I'm not particularly hopeful, based on the non-fall run up this way so far this season.
If I got crazy, and decided to head south on Mon., what's a good ramp to put a boat in for Naragansett Bay?? Thanks!!

Today was spectacular! Hard to believe it was early mid October! (Fishing was damn good too!)
