I was able to scrounge up a couple of W/chinners last weekend from the rocks of Newport, so you should still fare well. Good Luck, I'd love to hear the report afterwards...PM or Publicly

we went on fish4stripers boat last week. between the 3 of us we must have caught 80 of them with half of them being nice fish - i broke a st croix on one, doh. jeff had the hot hand that day with a bunch of 8-9# fish. i put a good size rock crab w/ a couple of hooks in it out. it got thumped pretty good but no hook up. god bless the tog

They've been catching cod as by catch also but it's not the targeted species.

they are filling time between seasons and taking advantage of sea bass staying open to 31 Dec.
