The 90 is too small for the Seabird, but I'd grab that if I had the dough. The 19' mako will be fine with the 90.

Don't need to, I ripped enough squishy balsa out of a Mako myself.

Do yourself a favor. Get a kayak. Problem solved. It's a boat, you can get away yourself on, cheap, low maintenance.
Save the dough for chip in fuel money, I'll take you out.

I really wana find a boat that i can slap that 90hp on. Soggy decks or Bad transoms dont bother me. I work at a boat yard ( Honda Outboard Mechanic) so i can fix those issues for not alot of money. I would love something in the 17ft range so i can keep the fuel prices down.
Problem is everybody that has a boat thats in bad shape thinks its work $$$$.
I keep lerking craigslist and hope to find something before spring. I may be putting my ATV up for sale or trade so i can get something.
I own a kayak to, but cant fish where i want to with it.

you could always just build one
Boat plan details, Classic 17 (C17), Power boats 17' to 20'
RMarsh form the board here is building the center console of this plan
check out his progress
I'm sure there are lots of boats for sale that would work, I don't know where you are located but that may help more if we knew what stste you were in.
