Blurple is custom order - which requires a bulk purchase from cotton Cordell.

Even at the distributor level it's tough to get anybody to commit to make that lure happen. Can't remember if the same applies to yellow/white but that too may now be "custom".

If there seems to be enough demand we will try and split the purchase with a distributor to get the blurple Redfin back out there. Unfortunately it doesn't sell as quickly as the bone which is a far safer bulk purchase since it always sells well.

Speaking of which, we have bone Redfins coming back this year.

Blurple and yellow over white are both custom orders even though there the most basic combos.

I've been getting mine from a place in NJ, pm me if you want the info.

All you really need is bone, mike at cape cod tackle has em for short money.

Can always spray bomb em

I have always been baffled by the "I cant find this color or that color" post...

Buy a few cans of spray paint, and you can make any plug color/pattern you want... it is beyond easy...

I agree with putski. I found a needle on block that was destroyed about a year ago. I rewired it used some green spray paint (since i found it on block) threw some helsman poly on it and fished it all last season. Held up well and caught me plenty of fish. Keep it simple

Don't force it feel it.

agree that the jersey shops seem to have them available in custom colors.

Having New York city an all those other multi million pop cities as part of your customer base sure helps with the sales numbers.

Makes my frugal old school heart warm to hear of rattle cans and spray paint. Nothing more deadly than a plug with a bad case of hook rash around the head and belly. Cure the rash with a little spray paint so it can develop again.

Stinkyink - green and block statement - nice touch!

Thanks DZ. I love me a plug with a bad case of hook rash. Gives it so much character and more than likely it probably caught you plenty of fish.

Don't force it feel it.

I have never re painted a plug because of rash. It would take away from my confidence. The only thing i have done is add more epoxy.

Everything is better on the rocks.
