I saw the movie poster for that when I took my son to see Episode I in 3D last weekend. At first I thought it was some kind of joke until I overheard someone talking about it.

For the record, it's not really worth paying extra to see Star Wars in 3D. It was ok, but not great.

I wasnt going to go see it in 3D but then I realized my son never saw any of the star wars movies on the big screen. He is a fanatic and its all he talks about. we;ll be going this weekend,

Don't get me wrong, the movie was still great. It's worth seeing if your son hasn't seen it on the big screen for sure. The 3D effects just weren't really great because the movie wasn't made to be in 3D. Jason still loved it but said that he expected it to be "more in 3D" than it was. And it was also his first time seeing any of the Star Wars films on the big screen.

Looks like I make have to augment the experience. I will bring some sand and throw it into his face during the pod race and for the lightsaber battle with Darth Maul, I will bring a ruler and smack him in the head throughout the fight. It might make it more realistic for him.

Just be aware that this is only Produced by Tim Burton (i.e.....I got the money).

It is directed by another guy.

Still look awesome though.....looks to be a lot of fun
