I am coming to Ma from May 25 to 29th are the Cod Hitting Near Plymouth. how deep and how far off shore

depends how many you want?
small keepers are not that far offshore in 100' or so. If you're looking to fill a cooler you're looking at a 20 mile run to about 250' and it's been slow at best.
