Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Spent the entire day there yesterday. This morning a 13 foot great white on shore right where we were in the water. It was the goosewing end of south shore in little compton.

Idiocy?

That shark was dead for awhile before it washed up, and there's no telling where it died. It looks like it tangled with a net somewhere.

I'll bet it was feeding off Noman's. No reports of White sharks from there, but there are plenty of seals and deep water. I'll bet they are there as well.

Numbskull this is great first the cover shot on the home page, then my wife wants to watch shark week. Now we have a great white washing up a mile from my house. And it's growing, on the way home last night I stop to get bass at earls and they tell me a fourteen foot shark washed up at south shore beach I checke out the paper and it was a foot shorter guess the great whit is getting bigger. A fisherman found it before dawn washed up. Glad it wasent me I would have to have my underware dry cleaned. I have been kayak fishing a ton this year and boy am I spooked. I know the odds are long but not based on logic or deep thought.

I heard fairhaven beaches were closed yesterday due to a sighting. If it was true and dead a day at most I don't think it would of washed up from nomans that quick. I think it may have been closer but who knows.
