Iron Mike article...

great article in this month's "On the Water" about the one and only "Iron" Mike. as always, he gives props to plug makers like Habs and Tattoo, and to the gear he uses like Van Staal and Lamiglas. only one thing bothered me about the article, the lack of "creative" words Mike works into average conversation.....

Wink

Good article, but it could have been a little longer with a little more insight into this fella Iron Mike. Sounds like an interesting guy.

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I'll pick up a copy of OTW at the newsstand tomorrow.

Yup, this could be the start of something big for Mike - maybe Habs might come out with an Iron Man Signature Series of plugs, but the only color available will be BLOOOOBERRY

Seriously, the Iron Man deserves any good press he gets - there ain't anybody out there more dedicated.

Good article, no doubt - about an awesome angler and one of the most intense people I've ever met whether it's bass or blueberries

Hey Chuck - don't be a stranger - hope all is going well

Hiya, John -

Yeah, I'm still alive and well, given the economy and all

It was a quiet winter and I hit the site regular-like to keep up on all the antics as a sorta invisible member - if you're registered you ain't one of those lurker types, right?

Anyway, the missus and I are finally finishing up a bunch of projects, even finished the revamping of our website and got it uploaded late last nite (and we're still married), so I missed the SWE shindig - and a chance to have the Iron One autograph a copy of OTW.

In other words, as of today the dust was flying in my tackle den so I'm ready and then some.

Hey, don't forget, we still gotta take a long walk to that spot with some eels when you get over this way again.

With some frosties at a real nearby local spot afterwards

I'll PM ya -
