Swimming with Orcas

Frontier Earth on Animal Planet right now. Woman is free-diving with killer whales in New Zealand, been doing it for 20 years. Really cool...

Watching it now. Someday she'll be lunch for one of those orcas.
Hopefully not but I think she's been beating the odds for some time now.

I get a kick out of celeb-reality types that do these things and claim that there's nothing wrong because they "know" the animals.

Yeah, Steve Irwin "knew" the stingrays, as well as "grizzly-man" and his girlfriend, and untold numbers of "shark-wranglers".
They all "know" the animals, but they really DON'T!!!
Everyone that claims to be channeling their inner Dr. Doolittle usually ends up paying a big price for their actions.

This woman is no different.

The whales are apparently very tolerant of her, as they would feel no remorse in biting her or smacking her into oblivion with a single tail swipe. Let's see how long she can continue before they get bored and begin "playing" with their new toy?
