Tide killed me this morning

After a crap weekend of winds this morning looked perfect. Absolute glass. I get to the docks at 4:45, my buddy meets me there. The tides had been big this weekend but I didnt even think of it. Where my boat is it gets a little skinny at low tides. I knew I was in trouble when i saw the dinghy dock sitting on dry land. Never seen it that low there before. Saw one of the work boats teatering on a rock. Loaded the boat, untied and bottom out 30 seconds later. Pushed off back to the slip, screamed for 5 minutes. Abslutley pissed. I had one of those gut feelings for a certain spot for the tide turn too. I was so pissed I ended up going to work. Im still steaming.

We were out from 4:30 AM on. It was slow. Water temp is down to 57. Still NW. We need 3 or 4 days of SWS

No boat, back in the suds.

Zero for me too. Bait was sparse.

Coming in Mon morning about 3:30am we stopped dead 10 feet from the dock, stuck in 6 inches of water and 3 feet of mud. Managed to "dredge out" the mud in reverse and had to tie up at another slip. Good Night of fishing though, fish up to 20#.

I am out almost every morning. If you are out and in the Upper bay give me a shout on 16 and we can drop down one or two. The Lady Jeanne is the boat name.

No boat, back in the suds.
