Where to go clamming on the Cape??
What are some good towns on the Cape for quohog clamming for a non resident. Looking for easy access to the clams without needing a boat. I have clammed in Duxbury , but access to the bridge requires a $200 parking permit. Also is is a lot of work to dig there.

A non-resident license fee is usually five times the cost of a resident license. Be prepared for that.

It depends how far you want to go. I have a place in Harwich, but only sometimes get a permit there and have always purchased one in Chatham, 80 bucks family non resident. There is quite a few good spots, and they do a good job with keeping up the population by suplementing with seed clams in the areas that get hit hard by the recreational clammer.
