A very good friend of mine that does very well fishing from
shore wins the one day "Rhumbline Striper Tournament" with a 31 lb. fish beating out 40 entrants and taking home 500 bucks.....he out fished mostly all boat fishermen....another friend, a boat fisherman took 2nd place....the shore fisherman who also commercial fishes from shore has basically out fished the commercial guys too...his cost to date is about 40 bucks for a tote of herring compared to the cost the boat guys cost when ya consider fuel, dockage...congratulations to him...
