So Many Bass

There are so many bass out there that some of the places on the cape stopped buying them!! The price was $2.00 per# on Sun and down to $1.50 yesterday. And may even go down further next week!! I was at a place in NB the other day and the guy had so many bass around that he did not no were to put them, He was pulling what little hair he had out!!
I have done some bass and done ok, Sun got 7 keepers (34") and on Mon got 12 Keepers.
But my heart belongs to the Fluke!! I have done really well with them this year and hardly notice being out of work as far as money goes.
This week was the best!! we got to one of my regular spots and started a drift, and it did not stop for about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hour and about 2 miles. Bam Bam Bam just fish after fish!! 4 guys all hooked up at the same time and just about getting back in the water and all hooked up again!! It was great! Had 200# by 11 am Started at about 6am
I am going to try to go out about 12 midnight Sun and fish till dawn for the Bass then switch to Fluke in the am. This will be the first such trip this year and hope it works out well!!
I will let you all no.

O Yea I totaly forgot It was a bad fuel pump!! I would have had to pull the remove a full tank of gas 30 gal, trailer hitch then the rock gaurd then the tank then disconnect all lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was not happy about doing this so I decided to cut a access panel in the back of my truck bed and it worked out great. After I had the hole cut the truck was running in 15 min. !!

I got caught holding fish on Wed. Was able to get rid of them at 1.45 a lb. after some phone calls. A real pain chasing down a buyer though. The regular guy I sell to would not take them. The fishing in the Bay, Cape cod Bay, has been great if you can get below the blues and dogfish. Had two fish that were in the 40 lb range. I would like to know about the Fluke though. I usually fish for fluke in the Barnstable Harbor area but none this year. Been raking plenty of sandeels but very few fluke. Without giving up your honey hole could you tell me kind of where you are fishing. South side I would imagine. I am strickly a recreational fluke fisherman. Just want to put some in the freezer. I am a little worried about where I will sell fish next week. Good luck P. M.
