52 degrees @ Conimicut Light now. May be time for a look see up river.

It changes up and down. Only 50.2 right now and according to the buoy at Conimicut the high has been 52.2 .

LOL nice for you guys. the weather report was 34 yesterday off shore with all the ice water coming down from the ice pack in all these big rivers we have.

It always seems like the Conmimicutt light temp readings are much higher than surrounding areas. The readings are always 5 degrees higher than providence and newport.

I think it is because of the sandbar and shallow water heating up faster than the deeper water.

I figured as much. You were bouncing in an out of cell coverage while we talked and usually the Bay is 5 bars.
