Ughhhh!!!!! I guess I will have to put the snow chains back onto my tractor. Luckily I have not removed the snow plow from it yet.
Last weekend went for a nice bike ride with the wife, and now this weekend snow again.......

Coaching CT High School Lax official start on Saturday, outside on the turf, and brew some warmer weather beer, a.k.a Brooklyn Summer Ale (clone) with Justin. Likely finish off some of the colder weather beer (Old Rasputin clone) while brewing said warmer weather beer.

Rivers end Saturday am, then 208 person seated dinner wedding
Sunday, finish off some garage project work hopefully.
Finish off hobie rigging and do some more dry runs and try and get my set up dialed in.
Install grip studs/washers on some new Simms boots.
Dinner date with the wife, if she's up for it

Continue recovering from this bronchial viral cough... Had it for a week but getting better. Know many have had it, some for long stretches and some who had it turn into pneumonia. Really couldn't work this week. Cough, inhaler, catch breath, repeat..... Cannot afford to have a set back in recovery due to coming snow removal either....

Yup... went to doc and got an inhaler + zpack as she suspects it could be bacterial since it has been a couple of weeks. Sucks.
Off to scenic Albany for a conference Sunday ahead of the snow.

I had that bronchial thing, too. Two different antibiotics and prednisone. Nothing touched it but time. I'm good now. Took me six weeks.
Today, I was gonna put the covers back on the shrubs...lucky for me the forecast has changed.
This afternoon, VIP tix for the Dropkicks 20th anniversary with Slapshot. I get to sit in the Posh Pit. Hehe. Big thanks to my pal skinhead craig for getting me the passes.
Tomorrow, rest and make sure I can haul my ass in for my last day on Monday. 9 years down the drain. Oh, well...at least they are letting me take all of my sick time and vacation after the surgery so I get 10 days of cheap insurance before I have to switch over to Cobra.
Mailing out care packages to the auction winners, too! Thanks guys for donating to a great cause.
Tuesday at 7:45 I go under the knife. Everybody say a little prayer for Ricky. They're gonna use some powertools on my spine to put those screws in. Lotsa pounding and poking (and not the fun kind).
See you guys on the other side!
Rick

Taking care of wife. She's improving and we have an appointment with a vascular surgeon Wednesday so we'll see.
Continue work on a new field I have been clearing on and off for 6 months. Takes my mind off her.
Ricky, praying for you bud!

Went to a St. Patrick's party last night with some great friends. Went to M & D's sale this morning and then a visit to my mothers house. Hanging around the house with no real plan tonight. Sunday is baseball and hockey and work at 5.

Wife is probably coming down with it... She took off ahead of storm to be in Hartford office for 0700 meeting tomorrow. Hope she doesn't pass it to her mother.... I finally got the doc to give me the antibiotics. Just finished replacing pull cord in the blower.
