Thy canned her show and her agency dropped her, she probably had that coming.
Not long ago, Hollywood gave a standing ovation to director Roman Polanski, who fled the US after being convicted of drugging and brutally raping a 13 year-old girl. He lives in Europe now, where as long as the girl you raped wasn't a prominent liberal, such behavior is tolerated.
Similarly, Joy Reid at MSNBC gets a pass for saying horrible things about gays.
Hollywood outrage over the desire to be nice to others, is quite selective. Which means it's fake.

Generally comedians get some leeway on these issues. Wanda Sykes (whom I love) was the first to say she was leaving the show but some of her material is worse - of course she is black so she gets a pass? What about someone like Andrew Dice Clay who was very popular maybe 30 years back - would a comedian like him get away with that nowadays? As a society are we too sensitive and take things way out of context?

I am so tired of the African American this or the any other name before American.. You are all of the HUMAN race and either your American or NOT American.
