Master Fish Repeler

It seems fish fear me.
After enough discouragement of little to no fish, I took the past week off fishing (mainly to get the demo car done) and waited for some encouraging reports of steady action to roll in. Well, I planned on heading way down saturday night then opted not to. My mother calls me up at 7 yesterday morning from down there saying that I guy I know was looking for me to know if i had come down and caught some of the fish that had been around. Apparently they hammered way down for a while, with some good fish mixed in including a 30+pounder caught by a 7 year old. The fish knew I was not around so they came in and fed. Hoping to cash in on the better reports of fish around, my buddy and I made the haul last night filled with anticipation. Never try and fish yesterday's fish, especially this year. Got down there and the first beach we went to was empty. Good reason. Mung is back. Bumped down a beach and were trucks. Got out on the beach and there is one small keeper on the beach. For some reason, i always seem to walk the wrong way when I get on a beach. the fish seem to always be at the opposite direction I go. We fished hard about 1 1/2 miles one way with nothing. the other guys had nothing in the 2 hours we were there either. We decided to move south. Get up the parking lot there is a guy and his kids that had gone the other way. I ask "anything?" Little kid says "we got a real big one". Seeing the Joisey Plates figure maybe a 40 inch fish. Look in the bed of the truck and the guys got a slob. I measured it for him since he had no tape. 46 inches and real, real fat. I figure real close to 40#. Nice fish. Guys biggest ever, taken on a sluggo. he leaves and the wheels in me and my buddy's head start rolling. Doug out there knows that when someone comes off the beach with a big fish, don't chase where they came from. went back out for another 3 miles. We each dropped a good fish, bang bang as they blew by, and that was it. Walk back beach was now a shag carpet. I never learn.

Guy right next to us got a 46" fish @ RP early Sun am...saw the pic @ Nelson's, it was 36 #. Fishing bait, though, so it wasn't the same guy.
They're out there
