Plan is to fish the morning tide Saturday and then I am leaning towards hauling out just for the storm. Back in next week.

We fished Deep Hole right after Hurricane Bob, 30 years ago almost to the day. WE crushed "large".

No boat, back in the suds.

it's a good plan Ross, the fish have been on the war path the last 2 nights, they know something!, I'm pulling pots in the morning ,stack and bring them home, Both Ipswich bay and Gulf of Maine calling for 1 -2' light south wind in the morning..I'll go back Saturday night and haul out if I feel the need..

Geico boat insurance sent me an E-mail this morning saying they will pay up to 1K to have someone haul and secure my boat because we are in the cone of probability... I wish they would give me the grand to haul my own boat!

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Nephew has wedding to attend in Narragansett on Saturday. And the tent company has already stated they want to take tent down immediately afterwards....

Just moved the wedding to Sat. They were married last year so this was only the church service and the reception. NBD.

Be safe everyone.

Trend is shifting west slowly... We'll see how far it slides. Right now it is still close enough for some serious surge up the Bay, especially if landfall is at high tide....

Right now it's looking like there's a real possibility of this.

Farther west means more wind pushing all that water into the bay

Change of plans.... Cheap Chinee' steel!!! I replaced these leaf springs less than 8 years ago..... Already secured a deeper water mooring for Saturday night through Monday as I have just 2 feet of water below me when these astronomical tides go to minus lows... Well I hope the fishing is good tomorrow!

Doesn’t look that bad for Sunday in Boston Harbor unless you’re in a small boat.
Will the fish bite on an east wnd, that’s another story.

Looks like they just expanded the hurricane warning east through RI and upped the wind forecast.

Right now looks like up to 30 sustained at times and 50 gusts for much of RI. Shouldn't be terrible but it's going to make a mess. They expect heavy loss of power for most of LI and CT.

Got out down to Westport inlet with a
yak buddy (he caught a nice keeper on a T and W). Those were some serious swells coming in. Don’t think it’ll be as bad as Bob, which sank my
Dad’s Grady at it’s mooring in Westport in ‘91. Lot of people at the ramp pulling boats; had to drag my yak on the dock from the non ramp side cause there were too boats waiting for the ramp. Still, a beautiful day OTW.
