Weekend Plans
Beautiful, fantastic October. Red Sox in the ALCS.
Which means a little work.
So what's up for the weekend?

Porch furniture gets put away, finish up refurbishing my 5x8 utility trailer with galvanizing spray paint and reclaimed plywood floor and sides previously used as forms for a seawall footing. Get prepped to haul boat next week. Might try to sneak out today for a few hours...

New axle and springs for my ATV trailer to prep for ice fishing season... rototill the garden and put the cover on the fish pond, I put the boat away last weekend, no need to delay the inevitable and got it covered before the pine needles started their siege..
time to start trapping bait for ice fishing.
If I have a few minutes, maybe watch a little football.

In a couple hours I'll be walking my older daughter down the aisle in a gi-normous Polish church, then after a week or so heading back to the Cape for a while and see if there's anything still swimming around. I had a pretty significant heart issue starting in May that I (stupid me) didn't address until I was hospitalized back in NJ in July, so I was out of the fishing game pretty much the whole year, but quitting drinking and smoking for three months now, plus some heart meds and a lot of walking I feel pretty darn good again.
Hope to maybe cross paths with some of you soon (especially those I had promised stuff to in 2020 I have yet to deliver on).

Figures my son went out yesterday and I was tied up, he hit big gator blues right outside Scituate harbor, the biggest weighed in at 14 lbs.
