Two years - RIP
Two Years ago we found out Don Michaud had passed. Early in the Pandemic, everything locked down, no services. Could not even find out the info.
I was just thinking about him a couple days ago.

Good guy. He wrapped a kayak rod for me that is still my go to livelining conventional boat rod. Wish I had paid attention to what blank he said he wrapped it on.... Dropped it off with the kayak I purchased from him, since he was coming "home" to Salem and say hello to family.

Don was the first person that reached out to me when I started surfcasting. Invited me to the Weekapaug Surfcasters meeting. Gave some tips and valued info always pleasant at Weekapaug B&T and in Stonington.

He just crossed my mind yesterday as I was talking about a surf spot he keyed me into. Miss him every time I pass the old shop.
