360 view from top of the world

This full screen panorama was published in connection with the 50 year anniversary, to honor the first two men who reached the top of Everest on May 29, 1953. Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

Since then 1,200-1,500 have climbed to the top. Nobody knows the exact number. More than 140 climbers have died on the way.

29,029 feet above sea level

On May 24, 1989 the Australian photographer and mountaineer, Roderick Mackenzie, reached the summit. He was no. 271. He made, as far as we know, the only 360 degree panorama from the top.

Don't get dizzy!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

The highest place on earth, and your giving us all a 360 degree view,it's completely breath taking......Funny how only four people comment on it,meaning we take it for granite from others peoples labors.

Live bait sharp hooks and timing is all you need

5/0, You are correct. When I viewed it a few days ago, I was speechless so I figured a reply would not be worthy. We do take it for granted. This is spectacular...............

Amazing!
I think I have seen that before

that is quite an accomplishment climbing up that hill, and to have a clear view all around to have a chance to take that picture. Amazing
