I've seen it a few times while night fishing the canal and in Duxbury.
Unobstructed field of vision and "knowing" what to look for really helps. The first time I saw it was at the canal, and knowing that plane running lights are not as bright as the light I saw, and the direction and the timing of the "pulse" (station rotation) made it clear. What sealed the deal was while I watched, it began to fade as the sun no longer hit their solar panels.
Pretty cool to see, since you have to be at the right place at the right time with the right conditions.
I'll be looking for it this week!

We had a great viewing of it on Cuttyhunk Friday night. Huge difference being away from lights, for star gazing too.

It's a shame that more people don't get to see a sky without light pollution more often. It's an awe-inspiring sight and you get to see more than you would think.
When I head up to Winni in NH, and we head down to the beach after dark, you can actually see satellites as they pass overhead (providing you can see well to begin with.)

Last night my 83 yr old mother and I watched as the ISS past overhead.
I wish I could get my telescope out and ready, but with the speed it travels across the sky, it would be like trying to scope out a bird in flight.
Still, it's awe-inspiring to be able to see an actually space craft orbiting our planet!
