I've been thinking about doing the same thing, but putting the pipe in is a very cool idea.

good guesses ,, can't fool ya's .. not even close .. I'll google the pyrex tubing .. This is aluminum tubing they gave me in work .. Its the vertical rods you see on egress doors with panic devices . They sell something like it at HD .. I was throwing Cordell Red Dots the end of last year ,, My attempt at knocking them off ,, will post pics here when done ..

I agree. I use them for a certain type of fishing I do but I ain't saying. as it was passed down to me from an old guy. Eddy I got lots of them I wish you mentioned it last time you were here I would have given you some. Good idea though. I like your thought process. Don't worry I don't finish anything either.

Cool idea. You can get brass tubing like that too. I use that on some handcarves for rattle chambers. Sling shot pellets also work well as rattles, 1/4 inch size, so larger than BB's. Or use a mix of them so they slam each other and the tube for more sound.

LOL.

they are sealed glass tubes with balls in them already, no cutting needed. They come in a few sizes. Here is the guy
