Hyannis/Cape Cod Honeymoon

So the wifey and I will be staying a full week in Hyannis at a cottage on scorton creek starting on September 8th

Looking for some suggestions on places to eat, things to do, spas, tourist type stuff.

I know were doing a charter boat one day for sure.

Jen wants to do a spa/pamper day.

We don't mind driving further on the cape.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Chef

don't go to the Black Cat, just came from there and the service was less than stellar, the food was not that great.
take a drive to Chatham some night

maybe here also http://www.trevicafe.com/ at Mashpee Commons

I didn't know there was a Scorton Creek in Hyannis also

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

Hi Chris
Scorton creek is in Sanwich, 20 min. From Hyannis. Armari's Italian in Sandwich is on rt. 6a right across from the entrance to sandy neck ,,, nice place, good food.

In hyannis is The Road House (same owners as The Black Cat)
From Hyannis is Gerardi Cafe (Italian ) in w. Yarmouth , as good as north end Boston IMO

Then there's my 2 all time favorites,,, L'Alouette in Harwich and top of the list is The Ocean House in Dennisport (these two I consider special event type restaurants $$$)

For Jen, my better half says "Solstrice Day Spa" in Hyannis . While she's there, I suggest Spanky's for you at the Hyannis boat dock for steamers and beer.

Congrats,,, have a great time

Honeymoon? You should consider a romantic dinner at the Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich.

Steak Gradimento! The only thing I haven't liked at Amari, and I've tried them several times, is anything scallops - definitely stamped sea skate wings but that was a couple of years ago.

I you like authentic Mexican you have to try Anejo on main street in Falmouth. They have a cod dish that's fantastic. The Mole is as close to old town mexico as you'll find. Plan on an hour wait.

Congrats and enjoy!

Go here. Johnny sax turned me on to it a few years back. BYOB but there is I liquor store right there to grab a sixer of red stripes. Pretty damn good stuff! And shrimpy is a cool cat that will sing the reggae as you watch him cook your food. It's fun
