Offshore Storm Churning Things UP?

Hey Folks,

Just wondering what this offshore storm is doing to the surf line in your neighborhood?

I was in Montauk over the weekend and I have to say it was ugly. The bite was hot and heavy till Thursday and then the winds kicked in on Friday night, shutting everything off.

Must say, there were 4-6 foot rollers less then 1/4 mile off shore and the swell was large on the surf line. The only guys able to fish were either in a wet suite or a AquaSkinz dry top and neoprene waders. All others were relegated to watch or absorb serious misery.

Give us the news....
