You don't have a cookie jar to stock ! The Cookie Jar means the wife or the very serious GF. YOU don't need to restock the Cookie Jar, YOU need to clean your room - big difference... Not knocking on ya just trying to impress the difference that's all

Ya baby. The weekend is here.
Was supposed to head off today and maybe end up in Newport but the wind may put a halt to that. They are calling for 40+ out this way.
I have my eye on a few inner harbor spots which are going to get a thorough working this weekend. Water a lot warmer inside. Caught a bunch of 25-30" inside last week. South shore yeilded 3 fish the other night. All on a swimmer.

On call this weekend, so I'll be around the house raking raking raking
I love to rake up quahogs, but leaves just don't do if for me. I'd have time go get some some fresh ones, but good ole Mr. Sun ain't available for either low tide. Amen for the stuffies in the freezer.
reorg the fishing tackle, and hope the bills vs cowboys are on tv sunday.

Supposed to go to P-town to retrieve the 4x4 for the winter, but instead catchin fish is more important. Headin to Rhody to meet up with some of the RI Crew and hopefully work on restocking the woman's cookie jar (the freezer with fish). Gonna be cold. Thank goodness for heated waders.

Im thinking of hitting the salt ponds. With this crappy wind I think the fish will be filling up on bait up in the ponds. So Im breaking out the kayak and heading in the back country.
I just went to the SWE website to read the report. Sounds like they're packing it in for the year. I dont know about you guys but its been unseasonally warm. Its 11/7 and I did not wear a jacket to work today. Plus the fish have been on a delayed schedule this year. I know its been slow, but I think we have 3 good weeks ahead of us. I hope to see you out there. I dont want to freeze alone!!!

Hey Billybob. I might be down there at LSS on Sunday. I saw your post in the boat forum. Ted's had eels last weekend, but there have been a few times this year when he ran out. I'd call first. I'll look for ya!

ME ME ME... I'll be out was out friday afternoon at second beach area.. tons of schoolies and mad monster blues...!!! CHEW CHEW!!
How many blues does it take to make a pencil popper sink?
1, about 18 lbs and 45 min's later... oooh my poor poor popper!..
gonna head out to the point over at second beach, newport! maybe in the later afternoon... although NW winds @ 20mph is gonna hurt casting...(time to break out the powerpro) surf shouldn't be too bad.. hehe...
River/Ocean side was productive all week long the bay side was quite dead except on monday where a school of wandering 4-6 lb blues swam thru and made all the scup fisherpeople kinda mad!!!... lol nothing like watching rods run down the rocks! heh!

Nahhh - not fisherman's language but universal terminiology of coupledum, up there with Honey Dos and thebetterhalf
Dude, spend less time worrying about the lingo or trying to appear as the consumate fisherman and concentrate hard on school and use fishing as your diversion. Set yourself better for a few years down the road
