17' BOSTON WHALER Montauk w/ 70HP Johnson & Trailer

I'm selling my 1975 17' Boston Whaler Montauk, with 1985 70HP Johnson outboard and trailer. Boat is in great condition for it's age....asking $5,500 OBO. Reply or PM if interested!

Y are ya selling it ? Seems like only 3 or 4 months ago that this was your ultimate boat?

Newell guy, I don't want to sell it - my dad wants to. He says it is too much maintanence, and he cant keep up with the $ or something so w/e, I have to sell it now - he did however let me spend $2,000 to get waders, korkers, aquaskinz, 706Z, custom rod, plug bag, a million other odds and ends and a bunch of party boat stuff. Spent all of it. Now im a surf/party boat guy.

I've been thinking about it myself also - why do I need a boat, taht I only get 3-4 hours a week on it, when my dad promises to take me out the good surf spots 2-3 times a week @ NIGHT with live eels and stuff, and let me go on party boats whenever I feel, and have my friends take me out on their boats? Seems more practical to me. So I didn't argue with him. Thats why im selling it - it's hard to say bye, but I have to. I had so many good times, I love that boat.
