New (To me Plugs)

I know two of these guys already (The CCP and PJ) The larger popper though.... Gibbs?

I doubt these have any real value, not that old, maybe 70's? But figured I'd post em for fun.. they will be sued to decorate my "Man Table" (Not quite up to BM status yet, I'm only allowed a table... downside of living in an Apt. not a house....

Thumbs up

MMMMmmmm...pluuugggssssss!!! I like em' RRH, good lookin' plugs, manly lookin' plugs, and I also live in a small apartment. However, it is too small for me to even have a man table....I have a man "pile" that just moves from one spot to another. Where did you get those plugs? Were they just lyin' around or did you pick them up somewhere?

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

BF, that was a thought as well, that it was a Cap'n Andy...
Got em from my grandfather's basement, he doesnt fish anymore, was kind of a gear head who bought way more than he needed.. too bad none of it was really old, but a lot of nice JJ's tins, tons of flies, some older reels (Squidder) etc....

Agree with Toby---the popper is an original Stan Gibbs Popper.

The new guys re-introduced it but it has red painted eyes instead of the old stick-on black and yellow.

I'd say around the 60s on the Gibbs.

I had a whole bunch of those poppers with rough finishes that Stan gave to my Dad when he worked at Maco's. He gave them away as test demos to see how they produced, before he went into full production. They had that wavy paint but weren't clear-coated.

The blue and white is a Gibbs 1 0z or P-1 Cast-a-lure, not castaway. Circa 1958-60

Thanks guys, a bit older than I figured.. the other two must be newer, both are non-wood... I'm guessing late 60's-70's?
Not sure when PJ stopped making lures...
