Did you try Tres Irby at Hatteras Outfitters? You looking for the solid replacement spacer bar after you cut off the top bar and remove the level wind worm gear sleeve (the hard way to do the conversion) or a CT frame? (the easy way).
I dunno if Hatteras Jack has a website but they should have them too.

Give Tres (pronounced Tray) a call. Hatteras Outfitters, don't know the web address. Google search.
Tres knows a bunch about Abus, and his site is great.
I'm going to have him CT a 7000 this winter. He also, I'm pretty sure, can get you the frame. Bucks though.
I got three rods off him over the last few years--and I love em'.
Merry Christmas.

I've never dealt with HO but have heard they're great. For HatterasJacks - HJ - go to http://www.hatterasjack.com . Talk to Ryan (sadly his dad passed aways last year). But if you want to play first, ask him to bring stuff with him when comes up to the MSBA show in March - he has the best selection in the place...

Kits
Check out H.O."s..click on " accessories"... you will find some" kits" . May be what you are looking for. I have done business with Tres over the phone and on the net.. excellent results...no complaints! Good luck.

I'd be interested.
I'm still on the fence about CT-ing a 7000. For bigger casting reels, non-level wind, I've been happy with the penn 535GS. But this past season I used mostly smaller reels 6500CT and the penn mag. My hand has gotton used to smaller side plates.
Still though, I'm in the market for another 7000. CT or CS????

What he has are "upgrade kits". Doing away with the levelwind, new gears. I am sorry.. go to "REELS " , then you will see"REEL CANDY" click on that..scroll down. That's best I can do. Good luck.

tL:
Just call Tres by phone. I've bought a few things from him and he's a great guy to order from. I made a little mistake on one online order and he called me twice to make sure he understood what I wanted. Most places just ship and let you bitch after they get your money.

bought one of the 7000C-3*s a couple of years ago the first year they changed from burgandy to silver and did not like level wind.Kept trying to thumb the line.so took reel apart and ground off the end of the stud for the plastic idler gear and removed the gear and the level line unit from the shaft.Left the shaft in so hole wasnt open and covered the cover for shaft with a piece of shrink wrap tubingworks great and only have to get new end cover if you decide to put back in later
